To another Rosebrook w/ love

http://yestheyareallmine-mom.blogspot.com/
To one of the few people I hold in the highest respect. My Aunt- Evy Rosebrook
I never considered you my favorite Aunt until a few years ago. Growing up I always had two other Aunts who were in the lead. Being an adult you are able to see people for who they really are and not what you thought they were (which is heart wrenching at times). Anyway, You have been the same person my entire life, you don’t change to please others and you can NOT be swayed in your beliefs. Again, we don’t have all the all the same beliefs but I think we agree w/ 80% of our views. I remember when my parents divorced, you were one of the only people who kept in contact w/ my mother showing love and support and not abandoning us. YOU are a true American citizen and I love listening to you about your view on politics and beliefs…..you really make me think and want to study more and more. The work you do for the Congolese refugees is amazing and I love you the more for it. (http://www.africarefugee.org/ ) Here is my tribute to you, love and support to you for being who you are. I love you dearly; you have gained my respect and it’s almost impossible to lose. Annette Rosebrook

Not sure if you like Lenny Kravitz or not, but its my page so its my favorite song about an American Woman..... (hahaha) and yes I know the lyrics.

Miss California, you are My Miss America!

The debate on Miss California “giving the wrong answer” The wrong answer? What does that mean exactly the wrong answer? Does it mean that we don’t have freedom of speech here in America anymore? Or does it mean to become someone like Miss America you have to give the answer that a twisted egotistical man wants you to give? Donald Trump for being a smart and brilliant man (and I do mean that, I’m a fan of the Trumpster), you sure allowed a stupid thing to be done in the 2009 Miss America pageant. There are some homosexuals that don’t even agree w/ this Hilton guy.

Mr. Hilton you called Miss California a dumb B*#!!. How can you be upset against someone’s beliefs? Isn’t that what the homosexual community is trying to do, ban discrimination? Are you not discriminating against Miss America because of HER beliefs? I also have a problem w/homosexual marriage, but I also have a problem w/people telling lies, stealing, drug addiction, alcoholism and other things that are morally wrong. Yes it is morally wrong to have sexual encounters w/ the same sex as yourselves. I don’t hate you because you’re a liar or a homosexual or a thief, I hate the act and the way the truth gets twisted in your honor. I have friends that are homosexuals and I don’t agree w/ thier way of living, but I still care for them and hope that they have good life’s. If we don’t agree w/ same sex marriage it doesn’t mean that we hate or despise you, we despise the act and that Is okay.

Joy!! Sring is here.

Though a country be sundered, hills and rivers endure;
And spring comes green again to trees and grasses
Where petals have been shed like tears
And lonely birds have sung their grief.
...After the war-fires of three months,
One message from home is worth a ton of gold.
...I stroke my white hair. It has grown too thin
To hold the hairpins any more.

Discrimination still try’s to show its UGLY face…

Below you will find Burger King trying to make Mexican's look bad. Enough is enough. If Mexican's over take the US like allot of white people are afraid of then all I can say is.......Viva la Mexico!!

There are way too many people who are discriminating against the Mexican culture and I AM about to put a stop to it. For those of you who are against Mexicans being in the US (Illegal or legal)it doesnt matter, you are called a Bigot and a Racist. Just in case you didnt know you had a name, that is what you are called.................

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Fast food giant Burger King apologized Tuesday for an advertisement featuring a squat Mexican draped in his country's flag next to a tall American cowboy and said it would change the campaign.

Mexico's ambassador to Spain said posters released in Europe for Burger King's new Tex-Mex style "Texican whopper," a cheeseburger with chile and spicy mayonnaise, inappropriately displayed the Mexican flag, whose image is protected under national law.

The ambassador wrote a letter complaining to Burger King and requested the ad campaign be discontinued.

Burger King said the ads were meant to show a mixture of influences from the southwestern United States and Mexico, not to poke fun at Mexican culture, but said it would replace them "as soon as commercially possible."

"Burger King Corporation has made the decision to revise the Texican Whopper advertising creative out of respect for the Mexican culture and its people," it said in a statement.

"The existing campaign falls fully within the legal parameters of the United Kingdom and Spain where the commercials are being aired and were not intended to offend anyone," the company added.

A TV version of the ad shows the strapping cowboy and the pint-sized Mexican wrestler -- nicknamed "Just a Little Bit" -- living together as roommates. At one point, the American lifts up the Mexican to help him put a trophy on a high shelf.

Mexico was involved in another controversial ad campaign last year when Absolut vodka posted billboard ads in Mexico with an early 19th century map showing chunks of the United States as part of Mexico.

The campaign angered many U.S. citizens and was later dropped.

Just a bit more about me!

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
